Our company is looking for an experienced Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the drywall and steel framing industry.   • Expand Toronto Taper’s business through new customer relationships and management of the existing customer base  
  • Develop new residential and commercial drywall leads 
  • Conduct meetings with clients to sell both residential and commercial drywall projects 
  • Research, identify and solicit new customers 
  • Attend marketing events
  • Achieve sales targets set out by the company 
  • Coordinate with estimators, office, and project managers throughout the sales process 
  • Build, develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients 
  • Adhere to company sales process guidelines 
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to target new customers, including cold calling and site visits 
  • Communicate with customers regularly 
  • Schedule follow-ups and produce sales notes using company CRM 
  • Educate clients on the different aspects of framing and drywalling 
  • Develop an understanding of customer needs and match those needs with the services the company offers 
  • Assist in producing company presentations

Job Qualifications

  • Experienced in construction sales, specifically with drywall, steel framing and insulation projects. 
  • College/University degree in a relevant field of study. 
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills. 
  • Understand drywall, framing and ICI construction. 
  • Ability to identify and manage project-related risks and opportunities. 
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. 
  • Must be punctual and have your means of transportation. 
  • Great attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt to changing circumstances. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology
