Required Skills

Toronto Tapers always strives for high project success rates and the ultimate customer satisfaction. We do this by providing outstanding service to our clients.

Our employees are the heart and soul of our service. Without them, we would not be able to make our service possible. We have a high standard for all of our workers and go through several interviews before making any hires. It is just one way to ensure we provide amazing services.

If you want to work with us, here are some of the things we look for:

  • An eye for detail and quality workmanship. Understanding that doing a proper job sometimes takes time.
  • A desire for progress and continuous growth. We are a rapidly growing company that adapts to changing circumstances every day. We look for flexibility and a willingness to change for the better.
  • The right attitude. We sometimes work in different, far from home and challenging environments. Having the right attitude from the start can make all the difference.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn. No matter how many years of experience you may have, you can always learn something new. Bringing that attitude to the job every day is crucial.
  • Experience. Do you have the appropriate experience and knowledge to provide quality workmanship we require?

We also hire apprentices. Ontario laws require new drywallers to obtain a Certificate of Apprenticeship. To earn this certificate, you must complete 5,400 hours of apprenticeship both in-class and on-site. After the training, you must pass the required exam.
